Product Description

Water purification using electro coagulation plants for ETP is effective. When wastewater is treated with electrical current, coagulated flocs are produced that are easy to remove from the water using the EC procedure. The two major parts of an electro coagulation plant for ETP are an EC reactor, which is a tank filled with electrodes, and an electrical current-generating power source. Coated flocs form when effluent is pumped into the reactor and electrodes are electrically current-driven. Following that, the flocs are removed from the waterway by filtration, flotation, or settling.

Advanced Electrochemical Treatment

Employing electro coagulation through specially designed aluminum or iron electrodes, this plant targets pollutants by destabilizing suspended solids, emulsified oils, and dissolved metals in industrial wastewater. The process is controlled via a digital PLC and monitored in real-time through an HMI interface, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Precision Engineering and Compliance

Constructed from mild steel with FRP lining and resistant PP/PVC internals, the unit assures durability and corrosion resistance. With electrical protections like phase monitoring and overload relay, it operates safely between 5C and 45C. The design complies with stringent CPCB and PCB discharge standards, assuring eco-friendly effluent management.

Ease of Operation and Maintenance

The skid-mounted, prefabricated design simplifies on-site placement and commissioning. Automated and semi-automatic modes allow operators to manage the system efficiently using the intuitive HMI display. Low maintenance needs and inbuilt sludge collection streamline daily operation, making it ideal for continuous industrial use.

FAQs of Electro Coagulation Plant for ETP:

Q: How does the Electro Coagulation Plant treat industrial wastewater?

A: The plant uses advanced electrochemical processes, where aluminum or iron electrodes are energized to destabilize and aggregate contaminants such as suspended solids, heavy metals, and emulsified oils, making them easier to separate and remove from wastewater.

Q: What types of effluent or wastewater can this plant handle?

A: This Electro Coagulation Plant is suited for industrial effluent and wastewater with inlet TDS up to 3000 ppm, and is applicable across sectors like textiles, chemicals, food processing, and other industries where regulated water discharge is required.

Q: When should sludge be disposed of from the collection tank?

A: Sludge should be removed periodically according to the plants operating hours and wastewater load. The inbuilt sludge collection tank is designed for easy extraction, and regular monitoring via the HMI helps determine the optimal disposal schedule.

Q: Where can the Electro Coagulation Plant be installed?

A: The plant is skid mounted and prefabricated, making it suitable for installation at various industrial sites, either indoors or outdoors, as long as the area is compliant with the specified operating temperature and electrical requirements.

Q: What is the sludge disposal method used in this system?

A: The system includes an inbuilt sludge collection tank. It simplifies maintenance by automatically collecting sludge generated during the treatment process, with an included sludge pump for convenient removal and handling.

Q: How user-friendly is the plants operation and monitoring?

A: Operation is straightforward due to the integrated HMI display and PLC-based control panel, allowing users to monitor key parameters, adjust settings, and receive alerts, all with minimal training required.

Q: What benefits does this technology offer to industrial operators?

A: This technology provides efficient removal of diverse contaminants, low operational noise (<65 dB), reduced chemical usage, compliance with discharge norms, modular installation, and reduced operator intervention for maintenance and monitoring.
